Sukadeva Gosvami said to King Pariksit,

"For one who has accepted the boat of the lotus feet of the Lord, who is the shelter of the cosmic manifestation and is famous as Murari, the enemy of the Mura demon, the ocean of the material world is like the water contained in a calf's hoofprint. His goal is Vaikuntha, the place where there are no material miseries, not the place where there is danger at every step."

One who seeks shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Krsna is immediately protected by the Lord. As the Lord promises in Bhagavad-gita,

"I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear."

By taking shelter of Lord Krsna, one comes under the safest protection. If one can remember Krsna at the time of death, one's life is successful.

Lord Siva prays,

"My dear Lord, Your two lotus feet are so beautiful that they appear like two blossoming petals of the lotus that grows during autumn. Indeed, the nails of Your lotus feet emanate such a great effulgence that it immediately dissipates the darkness in the heart of a conditioned soul. My dear Lord, kindly show me that form of Yours which always dissipates all kinds of darkness in the heart of a devotee. You are the supreme spiritual master of everyone; therefore all conditioned souls covered with the darkness of ignorance can be enlightened by You as the spiritual master."
